Media Studio privacy policy

Effective October 10, 2026. This policy covers the public Media Studio at studio.orbitandloom.com, operated by Orbit & Loom.

Media and project information

The current editor processes the audio and video you select on your device using browser APIs. We do not upload your selected files, recordings, captions, scripts or rights notes to an Orbit & Loom server. Project state is held in the current browser session; the app does not save projects in an online account or database. Downloads remain on your device until you remove them.

Optional sign-in and social connections

The editor does not require sign-in. Connected accounts use ChatGPT sign-in to identify you. If you authorize Meta, we store the Facebook Page IDs and names, linked professional Instagram IDs and usernames, connection date, and encrypted access tokens. These records are separated by signed-in user and used to manage the connections you choose. Connecting does not publish media. Use Settings → Connected accounts → Disconnect to delete a connection and its stored token. You can also revoke the app in Meta Business Integrations. Contact support@orbitandloom.com to request deletion of remaining connection records. We retain active connections until disconnected or deletion is requested.

Microphone and voice preview

Microphone access is requested when you choose to record. You can stop recording and revoke permission in your browser settings. Script preview uses your browser or operating system’s speech service. Depending on your selected voice and device, that service may process script text remotely under its provider’s privacy terms. Avoid entering sensitive information into voice preview.

Hosting and technical information

The site is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser information, request URLs and technical logs to deliver, secure and operate the site. Their retention and processing practices are governed by their own policies: OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current app code does not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, advertising cookies or browser storage for projects. Sign-in uses authentication cookies and Meta linking uses a short-lived, secure OAuth state cookie. Hosting infrastructure may use security-related technologies. Orbit & Loom promotional links are studio content; no third-party advertising network is integrated.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. Support email is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to our support inbox. We use this information to respond and troubleshoot. We keep correspondence while needed for the issue and reasonable business records; we have not set a fixed retention period. Please do not send passwords, private recordings or sensitive personal documents.

Your choices

You can stop using the editor, close the tab, revoke microphone access, and delete downloaded files from your device. Email support@orbitandloom.com to ask about information you sent us or request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any required record retention.

Changes and contact

If the app changes its uploads, accounts, analytics or connected services, we will update this policy to describe those changes. For privacy questions contact support@orbitandloom.com.
